Fire rated Steel Swing Doors can be seen in almost every buildings, no matter for industrial, commercial or residential. It is for pedestrian passing of people. Fire resistant metal doors are very important for protection of human life when there is a fire accident. It can stop the fire spreading, and isolate smoke and heat caused by fire. This can get some time for people to escape or wait for rescue. Fire Steel Swing Doors need comply with local rules and standards made by official fire control government. Fire rated time:  

1. China certificate: 30 min, 60min, 90min. (GB12955-2008 standards)

2. UL certificate: 90min, 120min. (UL10C, NFPA252 s)

3 Different Design

Fire rated Steel Swing Doors can be made into 3 different type according to different sizes.

1. Single door: door width ≤1200mm.

2. Double door: door width≥1400mm.

3. Unequal door: door width 1200mm-1400mm. 

Structure

Data sheet of Powder coated steel swinging doors:

Door leaf: 50mm thick flush design, surface sheet is 1.0mm thick high quality galvanized steel.

Door frame:  Sheet is 1.5mm thick high quality galvanized  steel.

Glass window: 30mm double layer insulated fire glass for fire steel door. 

Hinges: 304 stainless steel butterfly hinges, 4-inch heavy duty. 

Lockset: fireproof leveler handle lockset, 304 stainless steel material, outside is key cyliner , and inside is knob. Two side round tube handle. Optional for panic bar+outside trim handle lock for emergency exit steel door. 

Seal structure: top+left+right is fixed fire expansion seal rubber.  It can expand to seal tight during fire accident, to effectively prevent fire smoke spreading through the fire rated steel door. Bottom can be added with threshold to realize bottom sealing.

Optional hardware available: Door closer, Panic device, Auto-opener, Electric lock, Access control of IC card+password+fingerprint. 

Customized opening direction

Opening direction of fire rated steel doors can be customized for every door as your need. For different locations , it may need different opening direction, to make it convenient for people passing .The direction of a Hollow Metal Door need be observed while you standing outside in front of the door.  For Double Swing Metal Doors, handling direction is noted as the active door leaf direction.
